Read THIS blog post by a teacher. I mean actually read it. Take it in. Think about it. And then, write about it. What do you think about it? What is the teacher trying to say? In your own words explain what "the main event" is.


I believe what he says, and think he has a meaningful word said. He is saying that you being challenged is school not the common core or what is being taught. Also that quitting is doing nothing to challenge "you". That may include doing homework and skipping the harder stuff, doing that one extra fraction, the one extra sentence. That is the main event.

Explain How Stop-motion is going to work.

Our stop motion animation is going to be a battle scene/duel scene. People are going to use the force and launching people into lockers.  I am working with Logan and Ian.  It is going to be very cool with the effects.

Over my weekend I did a few things. Those things were eating pizza because of the royals winning and scoring 5 points, noticing I only have 1 and a half days this week, and going over to a friends house.

Tell me ALL about what your idea is for your stop-motion animation. I need detail. Who is going to help you take photos? What props do you need? Where do you plan on shooting? EXPLAIN everything.

I'm doing something with a few people but one at a time in a chair going around the school doing different stuff i'm not sure what stuff but that is to go with the flow. It depends on who is in the hallway at what time. A few people might have a fight and one gets launched across the hall. The chair might break and the person might have to walk or find a new chair. I need a tripod.

My weekend was great. It was Easter and Kentucky lost in the final Four.  I also hung out with friends for a lot of the weekend.  My weekend also included a great Easter service by the church of the resurrection.

I love Spring. Spring is great because of the weather. Any time their is great weather its a great time. I also like this time of the year because my birthday is coming up.  That is what I love Spring.

No, but we did find a lot of interesting images for example: a long hallway, a BV symbol, an eyeball, and a trash can.  I did all of the images at school.

What do you know about photography and/or photo editing? Do you take photos? How do you take photos? Do you edit photos before posting them on social media? How do you edit them? All I know about photo editing is Photoshop is a program people use, and that I haven't edited a photo before. I take photos, but I don't take many. I just take pictures on trips or vacations. I don't edit images. I don't have a big interest in editing images.

Welcome back! Go ahead. Tell me all about your Spring Break. Include photos!


During my spring break I did a lot of things. This includes of filling out a bracket, going to Omaha, NE, and hanging out with friends. My bracket is kind of busted, but a lot of others in my tourney have been busted. I went to Omaha to be with family, but I also got to see KU practice (I have a picture but it wont load) before they played New Mexico ST. I got to hang out with friends because that's part of the brake.

What are you doing for Spring Break?

For Spring Break I am going with the flow.  I never know what I might do.  For sure I am going to WWI museum for extra credit in History of the Western world with Winslow.  I foresee a lot of video games during Spring Break.  If it is good weather I will be going outside a lot.  That will basically be my Spring Break.

My weekend was great. I went to a friends house on Friday. On Saturday I had friends over. On Sunday  I Slept in due to the fact that we had daylight savings. I also had Jack Stack BBQ On Sunday.

If you were the Principal for a week at BVHS, what would that look like? What changes would you make? Why?

If I were to become the Principal for a week it might end bad because I wouldn't know what to do. I would try to keep everything the same, and I would let Mr. Bacon back in charge.  He knows what he is doing.  I have little to no experience with running a school.  Mr. Bacon is much better off than me because he knows what might go wrong with a certain decision.

Top ten pieces of advice for giving a good presentation

1. Its got to have a topic that isn't to broad.
2. Hold eye contact with your audience.
3. Don't improvise as you go.  Make sure you've ran through it once or twice.
4. Don't speak in a monotone voice.
5. Speak upbeat and a good tone of voice.
6. Get your audience involved.
7. Don't bore your audience.
8. Use humor.
9. Don't overdue it. It might just look weird.
10. Don't make it to complex. Simple is one of the best ways to present.

My weekend started with a lot of basketball at the buckets for Bacon event on Friday.  Then on Saturday my brother won two baseball games and went to the championship, and I played a lot of video games.  On Sunday I had a basketball game and we lost by 2.

My weekend was an original weekend. I lied around all day Saturday playing video games and watching TV. During Sunday i was sick and missed church. We also had a rec game. We lost but it was fun.

The perfect curriculum would be the following: Honors POE, AP/Regular Physics, ELA, A math class each year, CAPS engineering courses which is 5, 6, and 7.  I want to be a doctor or an engineer. My class time would be spent in a focused matter because one gets more out of focus then anything.  These classes would be different from the ones I have now because they are based on a certain occupation.

Tell me what you believe this cartoon is trying to say. Do you agree or disagree with this idea? Try and look at this from two different perspectives. What is your perspective? What would be an adult/teacher's perspective?

The cartoon is trying to say that China and India are learning while USA is lounging around and being lazy.  I would disagree with this idea because we have a lot of people who want to learn and aren't distracted.  India and China aren't necessarily like this because a lot of them are in poverty.  My perspective on this is a US citizen so i might have a bias but i try to go with as little bias as i can be.  A teachers or an adult perspective would be different.  Adults would think this is totally true while teachers know because they have to teach them.

I would love to give you less work in class if it meant you were going to focus harder on the work. Do you think you would get more out of it? Would that work for you? Why or why not?

I might learn or get done more in less time. I could go more in depth in a topic.  This could be applied in my life in many different ways. One is school and I could do more focus to learn and remember the topic.  Another thing is work.  I could focus more in work and get things done right and people would be happy. Happy people are good.  I would get more focus out of work because it would help me on all of what I have just said.

Not all hackers are bad. Some find weaknesses and show that company so they can fix it.

On Friday I didn't do much I just relaxed and watched TV.  On Saturday I watched my brothers game and didn't go to the dance. I relaxed. On Sunday I watched football and went to a super bowl party. That was my weekend.

Email is a way to communicate over the internet.  Email in my personal life is used for school some phone apps and some websites.  People use email for a lot of stuff including online games, social media, apps on phones and a lot of different stuff.  Email etiquette is to write everything in format, use the subject box correct and don't write in a text format.  E-mail can also be known as mail with technology and soon other things are bound to end email due to speed of sending.

Yesterday I had you choose a global issue and you wrote about it on your blog. Today on your blog I want you to tell me about two different perspectives of your global issue. Are there people for an against your issue? Do people disagree on your issue? Is it a topic that can cause controversy? Look at the issue for two different perspectives. People disagree that hacking is all around us but people need to realize one could download a virus at any time.  People who know get a firewall. The ones who disagree haven't had it happen to them and think that it will never happen to them. At some point it will. One might never know when.  They are all around.

Last week I asked your to "think differently" and push yourself to be uncommon with your PSA project using Google Slides. Why do you think I asked you to do that? What is the point? Why not just use bullets and headers? Explain.

The point of this class is to use different skills and we already used bullets. We did a PSA and that was different because it used persuasive topics unlike who am I project that was informative.

What is a public service announcement (PSA)? What do PSA's do? What makes a good PSA? How can you get someone to take action after watching a PSA?  What is you PSA idea? Explain in detail.

A public service Announcement is something directed at the person using facts and details to get attention. PSA's get a point across about some topic that is bad right now. A good example is texting and driving.  Texting and driving is big because of cellphones and teens who always have to check them. A good PSA takes a good topic. Persuading the person to take action is a need. Persuading is part of a good topic.

This class has been challenging so far. Easy so far but i bet that will change. Not so informative so far but that will change too.  I have learned how to blog and i want to learn so many things about the internet.

I helped my grandpa move to Omaha. My friends and I worked for 2 hours to fit everything into a moving truck.  Then we took it to his apartment and and unloaded the truck. After, we left on Sunday and got home at 7:00 P.M.

I agree with this article because of the people who are lazy. If there where no lazy people we could be way more advanced. In third world countries, there cant be a lazy person or they cant pull off what they do.  If people were not forced to war when a war happened the world would be a better place.
